GetIntoStores vs Lemon Squeezy
Per sale. Lemon Squeezy's pricing page on 2026-10-28 listed 5% plus 50 cents on each transaction with no monthly charge for its ecommerce features. GetIntoStores charges 10% of the sale with no fixed per-sale amount, and card processing comes out of our share. On a $3 file their 65 cents is more than our 30; on a $30 file their $2 is less than our $3.
Tax. Lemon Squeezy acts as merchant of record, which means it collects and files sales tax and VAT for you. GetIntoStores does not: you are the seller of your own work and your own tax position is yours. If selling into the EU or UK without touching VAT paperwork matters most to you, that is a real reason to choose them.
Where we differ. GetIntoStores is a marketplace as well as a storefront, so a new release appears on the home page for shoppers who have never heard of you, and buyers read, listen and keep what they bought in our iPhone, iPad, Android and web apps rather than downloading a file and hoping.
What Lemon Squeezy has that GetIntoStores does not yet: merchant-of-record tax handling, license keys, software licensing and usage-based billing.
