GetIntoStores sells ebooks directly from the people who wrote them. Every book page shows the real cover, the author, a description and the price in US dollars before you pay, and books with a free sample let you start reading first.
You pay once for each book. There is no reading subscription and no membership. On the web you pay by card through Stripe's secure checkout; in the GetIntoStores app on iPhone, iPad or Android the purchase is processed by Apple or Google. The book appears in your library straight away.
You can read in the app or download the file to keep. Downloads are ordinary PDF or EPUB files without DRM, so they open in the reader you already use, on any device. The licence is personal: the file is for your own use, not for resale or sharing.
