GetIntoStores vs Gumroad: an honest comparison
Fees. On 2026-10-07 Gumroad's pricing page listed 10% plus $0.50 on each direct sale and 30% on sales that come through its Discover marketplace, with no monthly fee. GetIntoStores charges a flat 10% commission on website sales, with no fixed per-sale amount and no monthly plan; card processing is paid from our share, so you keep 90% of the price.
Discovery. Both run a marketplace. On GetIntoStores a new listing appears on the home page as soon as it passes our automatic file, cover, price and payout checks, and it carries the same 10% rate whether the buyer found it there or through your own link.
Buyers. GetIntoStores has iPhone, iPad, Android and web apps where buyers read, listen and keep what they bought, with free samples before purchase. Gumroad also has a buyer library app.
What Gumroad has that GetIntoStores does not yet: memberships, pay-what-you-want pricing, license keys, email broadcasts to your customers and ZIP file delivery. If you depend on those, Gumroad is the better fit today.
