GetIntoStores vs Etsy

Fees. Etsy's US seller fees as published in October 2026 are 20 cents per listing, renewed every four months or when the item sells, a 6.5% transaction fee, and payment processing of 3% plus 25 cents, with optional Offsite Ads adding more on attributed orders. Those stack: on a $10 printable that is roughly $1.25 before any advertising. A GetIntoStores website sale of the same file costs $1.00, with no listing fee and nothing to renew. Check etsy.com for today's numbers.

Fixed fees punish cheap files. A 20 cent listing fee and a 25 cent order fee barely register on a $40 bundle and hurt badly on a $3 download, which is why GetIntoStores has no fixed amount per sale at all.

Reading, not just downloading. An Etsy buyer gets a file. A GetIntoStores buyer gets the file plus a library: the book opens in our reader on their phone, tablet and the web, audio and video play in the app, and a free sample can be read before buying.

What Etsy has that GetIntoStores does not: an enormous shopping audience, physical and print-on-demand products, and its own advertising system.
