Sell ebooks online, direct to your readers
GetIntoStores lets an independent author sell an ebook straight to readers. Upload your manuscript as a PDF or EPUB of up to 256 MB, add the cover and the description, choose one of the book genres (fiction, romance, mystery and thriller, business and money, personal growth, faith and spirituality, education, children and teens) and set your price in US dollars.
The store was opened with the full library of Dr. Ephraim Oviawe, who withdrew his books from exclusive distribution elsewhere to sell them directly here. The same tools he uses are the ones every author gets: a storefront page with your name and bio, a product page for each book, and a free sample you choose so readers can start the book before they buy it.
Readers pay once and the book is theirs to read in the GetIntoStores app or download. There is no subscription between you and your reader and no exclusivity requirement: you decide where else your book is sold. You keep 90% of each sale, and Stripe pays it to your bank account.
To sell more than one title, group books into a bundle for a single price or create a discount code for your mailing list. If you write a series, readers can find the rest of your books from any of your product pages and from your storefront.

Do I have to sell my ebook only on GetIntoStores?
No. GetIntoStores does not ask for exclusivity. You must own the rights to the book or be authorised to sell it, and if you are enrolled in another retailer's exclusive programme you need to leave it first.
Can readers try the book before buying?
Yes. You can choose a free sample, and it is shown on the book's page so readers can start reading before they pay.
