GetIntoStores vs Shopify
Cost. Shopify's US pricing page on 2026-10-28 listed Basic at $39 a month with online card rates of 2.9% plus 30 cents, Grow at $105 with 2.7%, and Advanced at $399 with 2.5%. On a $10 ebook sold on Basic that is 59 cents of card fees plus the monthly plan; on GetIntoStores the same sale costs $1.00 in total and nothing monthly.
Digital files. Shopify is built for physical commerce, and delivering a digital file means adding an app and trusting it with the download. On GetIntoStores a PDF, EPUB, audio or video file is the product: it is checked on upload, opens in our reader on iPhone, iPad, Android and the web, and stays in the buyer's library.
Control. A Shopify store is entirely yours, with your own domain, theme and checkout, and a huge app ecosystem. GetIntoStores gives you a storefront page at getintostores.com/yourname instead, inside a marketplace that also sends you buyers.
What Shopify has that GetIntoStores does not: your own domain and theme, physical products and shipping, POS, and a very large app ecosystem.
